I have a number of questions about designing a mixed signal ASIC in LayoutEditor.
* Are the X-Fab XP018 and XT018 PDKs known to work well with LayoutEditor? Can I generally expect the basic process details and PyCell libraries to get pulled in?
* Is there any DRC support from the PDK rules?
* How do folks do signoff DRC when working from LayoutEditor?

Hi John, X-Fab provides several PDK-packages for our LayoutEditor including the technologies you mentioned. These packages are tested by X-Fab and without any know error. The packages include std-cell, parametric cell (PyCell), schematics, and of course all the required layer setup. The DRC rules are not supported. In case you want to use our DRC you need to translate the rules by your own. We recommend to use any qualified by X-Fab DRC tool for the final check before submitting the design. So our DRC will help you to reduce the usage of the high priced tool, but will not replace it completely.
