LayoutEditor GUI scaling issue Nov-2023.png

Workplace is moving to giving everyone a laptop with 14" 4k display. Additionally, I like to hook up external 27" 4k and/or QHD displays. This causes a lot of problems with LayoutEditor automatic GUI scaling. This is the second kind of computer setup where this issue has been a bother. Is there a way to manually override this? See attached image for how excessively large the GUI icons appear on my secondary 27" QHD monitor. Total setup: Primary display: Laptop Dell Precision 5570, 14" 4K display Secondary display: Dell 27" 4K monitor Tertiary display: Dell 27" QHD monitor (screenshot from that one) P.S. I am just getting started at this new place of work and expect to get the full version once I get settled in.

The automatic interface scaling is based on the pixel-resolution of the monitor. Sadly, the values the operating system returns are not always correct. In this case you can overwrite this setting. It is located under setup/user-interface/general. The latest regular release of the LayoutEditor is required for it. In the newest development version you will have an additional setting to set the font size independent of the icon-size. That release can be downloaded here: [Delelopment version download](https://layouteditor.com/download?release=latest) ![interface_size.png](/api/img.php?thread=20231115-9f63&file=interfacesize.png)
