Hi there,
I am using LayoutEditor to prepare a lithography mask. The software keeps crashing at random times, so I love everything I did after the previous save. It is far from ideal to keep pressing S all the time, and it happens that the tool closes before I finished drawing the polygon/box/etc.
What kind of information do you need from me to take a deeper look into this? Should I try reinstalling the software? I have a paid license from the company I work for.

Hi Luiz, please let us know which exact step cause the LayoutEditor to crash. Are these steps reproduceable, meaning doing the identical steps on the same design cause the same crash? If so, please send an example design showing this issue to support@layouteditor.com. We will fix any problem we are able to reproduce. Always let us know on which system the issue appears. Some bugs may only appear on MacOs, or Linux, ... Please also test the issue on the newest update of the LayoutEditor. It may already be fixed.
We know that a crash may happened in case the system runs out of memory. In this case a warning will be displayed in the status bar before. On modern systems this kind of crash will only happened for big design (> 1GB) on small systems. The system taskmanager will show it as well.
