Hi there,
Is there a way to save the layout manager settings along with the layout file itself? Every time I open a GDS file, I have to import back the layout manager settings, which is a waste of time specially that the software keeps crashing without any error message.

In the setup there is a setting 'store layer names' under fileformat/GDSII. Once enabled the GDS layer names are store with any GDS file. A similar setting exists for OASIS format. Also, there is a setup settings under user_interface/layer named 'store layer setting on shutdown'.
Please let us know what steps cause the LayoutEditor to crash. We are eager to fix these issues. You may also send an example file via email to support@layouteditor.com. We will review any problem and fix anything we can reproduce.
