Hello.
I have found display error when opening a file made by Layout Editor through GDSⅡ Viewer.
Some patterns are completely different from original design on Layout Editor.
Could you give me any advice and the reason?
Thank you so much!

Are you able to share that file? I am happy to review it. You can send it to sopport@layouteditor.com for a review.
The effect you have can have more than one reason. The most common one would be that the GDS-Viewer you have used does not fully support all existing GDSII-syntax, most likely box elements are not loaded and not displayed. These box elements are part of the GDSII format for more than 30 years now, but still not supported by any GDS tool on the market . In this case, please open the setup of the LayoutEditor and choose the option *box elements are stored as polygons* under fileformat GDSII:

Thanks for sharing the design. Your design used a rotated cell array. In this combination (cell array and rotation) the GDSII specification is ambiguous. It is missing the specification of the order of this transformation (rotation first and the array afterward versus array first and then the rotation). We have reviewed several other tools and made a statistic which way is preferred by other tools and choose that way to display it. Additionally to it, a warning is displayed.
To fix this issue, please call the feature Utilities/Global_Tools/Remove_Rotated_Call_Arrays. This feature will add a further hierarchy level between the array and the rotation so that it gets unambiguous related to the GDSII specifications.
