Minimum resolution for 300mm wafer

Monday 18th April 2022 Hi Jurgen, For a 300mm wafer gds, there is a minimum resolution possible with the gds format that is approximately 70pm due to the 32 bit format. For OASIS, the minimum resolution should be a lot lower. However, when I select a low database unit, eg. 25pm, I can not represent a 300mm wafer in layout editor even if the format is OAS. Can you tell me what is the minimum resolution that I can save/edit an OAS file for a 300mm wafer? Thanks, CP

Monday 18th April 2022 The LayoutEditor uses internally GDS and is thereby also limited to 32bit. So there is no difference within the LayoutEditor between GDS and OASIS.
