Schematic to layout to 3D view using OpenCell library

I am new to this software- For now I just want to do a few things: 1) Using LayoutEditor Schematic and OpenCell library, drag a AND2 gate to the schematic. Then I want to view the contents of the AND2 gate (transistor level). Is this possible? 2) I want to view the layout of this AND2 gate, and then 3D view of the layout. How can I do this? Thanks in advance

Once you have placed the AND2 gate in the schematic, the new schematic device will be listed inside the layout window in the netlist device section. You can place the device into the layout to see its transistor level. To see the corresponding 3d view, just call the 3d view feature of the openCellLibrary afterwards. The 3d view window will open to display it.

Ok but when viewing the 3d, it's just a plane, like maybe a cross-section, not sure. What am I doing wrong?

Did you perform the layer setup? There is a macro to do so next to the 3d view macro. This macro will also set information like the layer thickness that is use for the 3d view.
